Advisory Groups

The Advisory Groups

The UKEB has four standing advisory groups:

  • Academic
  • Accounting Firms & Institutes
  • Investor, and
  • Preparer

The UKEB establishes ad hoc groups for specific projects.

Currently, there is an ad hoc group for:

  • Rate-regulated Activities

These groups are not decision-making bodies in their own right. They act as advisory, consultative groups which provide specialist knowledge and information as input into the Board’s technical decision-making.

The UKEB also sets up working groups for particular projects. These solely advise the Secretariat, and the membership of these groups may change as the focus of the group’s work evolves.

Currently, the UKEB has working groups for:

  • Financial Instruments
  • Sustainability
