Advisory Groups

The UKEB Advisory Groups provide advice and input to the Board, for its technical decision-making. Each group is chaired by a Board member. The groups do not have decision-making authority.

There are five standing advisory groups: Academics; Accounting Firms & Institutes; Investors; Preparers; and Financial Instruments. The UKEB may also establish an ad hoc group for a specific project. Currently, there is an ad hoc technical advisory group for Rate-regulated Activities.

The UKEB may also set up a Working Group for a particular project and currently has one for Sustainability. This group provides advice and input to the Secretariat.

Advisory Group and Working Group members come from different parts of the UKEB's stakeholder community.
