Preparer Advisory Group Appointments

We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to the UKEB’s Preparer Advisory Group (PAG):

Andy Boorman is a Chartered Certified Accountant with more than 25 years' experience spanning audit, asset management, insurance and listed company reporting. He is currently Group Technical Accountant at Serco Group plc, where he is responsible for accounting policies, providing technical accounting advice and training across the Group, and supporting both external financial reporting and sustainability reporting.

Gillian Starkie is the Head of Technical Accounting and Reporting at Standard Life plc, a FTSE 100 life insurance group. She is responsible for the development of the Group’s accounting policies and the provision of technical accounting guidance across the group's activities and transactions. Gillian is a member of the ICAEW Insurance Committee, the European Insurance CFO Forum Steering Committee, and the ABI Financial & Corporate Reporting Committee.

The PAG provides the UKEB Board with specialist knowledge and technical advice on IASB projects under consideration for endorsement by the Board, and influencing projects under development; UKEB research projects; market developments and financial reporting issues.
