KPMG in the UK (“we”) welcome the opportunity to respond to the UK Endorsement Board's (UKEB) invitation to comment on the Draft Endorsement Criteria Assessment of IFRS 18.

We believe in a single set of globally consistent financial reporting standards, and therefore are supportive of adoption of IFRS 18 for use in the UK.

We have no significant comments on the main observations and recommendations noted in UKEB's draft assessment. As such, we have not provided answers to the individual questions raised in the invitation to comment.
