Advisory Groups

Vacancies

The UKEB is recruiting new members for its standing advisory groups, to replace members who are stepping down at the end of their terms.

We are seeking new members for the following groups:

Academic Advisory Group (AAG) – 2 members

Accounting Firms & Institutes Advisory Group (AFIAG) – 3 members

Investor Advisory Group (IAG) – 2 members

Preparer Advisory Group (PAG) – 3 members

Rate-regulated Activities Technical Advisory Group (RRA TAG) – 3 members

The UKEB Advisory Groups provide advice and input to the Board, for its technical decision-making. Each group is chaired by a Board member. The groups do not have decision-making authority.

There are four standing groups: Academics; Accounting Firms & Institutes; Investors; and Preparers. The UKEB may also establish an ad hoc group for a specific project. Currently, there is an ad hoc group for Rate-regulated Activities.

The UKEB may also set up a Working Group for a particular project and currently has two: Financial Instruments; and Sustainability. These groups provide advice and input to the Secretariat. They do not have decision-making authority.

Advisory Group and Working Group members come from different parts of UKEB's stakeholder community.
