UKEB publishes its 2024/25 Annual Reports
The UKEB has today published its two Annual Reports for the reporting period 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025:
A report to the Secretary of State setting out how the UKEB discharged its delegated functions. The report covers the work undertaken on the adoption of amendments to international accounting standards, for use in the UK, and sets out how the UKEB has influenced the work of the IFRS Foundation and the development of new and existing international accounting standards.
A report to the FRC setting out how the UKEB fulfilled its governance and due process responsibilities.
The UKEB Chair, Paul Lee, said:
“As an organisation, we continue to focus on supporting investment confidence and economic growth through the effective delivery of our delegated functions, underpinned by a clear regulatory strategy and robust governance and due process framework. UK companies’ use of comparable and proportionate international accounting standards plays a key role in supporting UK economic growth and inward investment and the UKEB will continue to influence the development of these standards in the interest of the UK long-term public good.
The UKEB’s ability to successfully achieve its strategic objectives, year on year, is driven by the commitment of the Board and Secretariat and the valuable input we receive from stakeholders.”
