UKEB Financial Instruments Working Group Appointment

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Seymour as a member of the UKEB’s Financial Instruments Working Group (FIWG).

Michelle is a Director in the Barclays Accounting Policy Group, where she is responsible for providing technical advice on complex accounting matters, and monitoring developments in accounting standards and interpretations relevant to the Bank. Michelle is also the Co-Chair of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) accounting forum. Michelle previously worked in external audit at Ernst and Young.

The FIWG, chaired by the UKEB’s Technical Director, Seema Jamil-O’Neill, provides the UKEB Secretariat with technical advice and specialist knowledge, in respect of IASB financial instrument-related projects.
