UKEB Academic Advisory Group Appointments

19 September 2025

We are pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to the UKEB’s Academic Advisory Group (AAG). The AAG provides relevant and timely advice, context and evidence on UKEB projects to support the Board in its decision-making.

Ivana Raonic is Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance at Bayes Business School, City St George’s, University of London. Her current research explores the role of financial reporting and corporate disclosure in debt contracting, bankruptcy, and corporate governance.

Mark Clatworthy is Professor of Accounting at the University of Bristol. His primary research interests are in the use of accounting information by capital markets.

Richard Slack is Professor of Accounting at Durham University. His practice and policy relevant research focuses on capital market user views of accounting information, specifically examining intangible assets and sustainability and climate change reporting; the latter with increasing relevance to financial statements.

Details of all the AAG members can be found on the UKEB website.
