The UKEB Chair, Paul Lee, has today announced the appointment of four new Board members. The new appointments will support the ongoing strength and effectiveness of the Board, as current member terms come to an end.
- Gail Tucker, Javed Siddiqui, Rob McPheely and Sue Harding have been appointed for three-year terms, effective from 15 March 2026.
- Phil Aspin and Michael Wells stepped down from the Board on 14 March 2026.
The UKEB Chair, Paul Lee, said:
“I am pleased to announce the appointment of Gail Tucker, Javed Siddiqui, Rob McPheely and Sue Harding. Each brings experience of IFRS from a key area of expertise, which will support the Board’s ongoing focus on delivering effective outcomes for UK stakeholders.
The stakeholder representation on the board of the UKEB, as well as through our advisory groups, is a key part of our ability to influence global standard-setting, underpinning our efforts regarding high quality accounting standards that build investor confidence and support economic growth.
I would also like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation, and that of the Board, to Phil Aspin and Michael Wells, who have recently stepped down. They have each played a key role in the UKEB’s successful growth from the initial March 2021 start-up to the efficient organisation we are today.”
