EFRAG Consultative Forum of Standard Setters

The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group Consultative Forum of Standard Setters (EFRAG CFSS) provides input to EFRAG to support its role as a member of ASAF. The UKEB is invited to attend meetings as an observer with speaking rights.

EFRAG meets quarterly with the National Standard Setters of Europe in the CFSS. During these meetings the EFRAG Financial Reporting Technical Expert Group (EFRAG TEG) discusses current European financial reporting issues, major proposed changes to IFRS and EFRAG's proactive work in the presence of IASB members. These discussions allow EFRAG TEG to have a better understanding of the impact of the proposed amendments on national business practice and national accounting standards.

The CFSS is chaired by the EFRAG TEG Chair and usually meets four time per year.

The UKEB is usually represented by its Technical Director.
