About Us

The UK Accounting Standards Endorsement Board (known as 'UK Endorsement Board' or 'UKEB') is the UK National Standard Setter for international accounting standards. It was established on 26 March 2021 and its delegated powers, received from the Secretary of State, came in to force on 22 May 2021.

The UKEB is governed by its Board. Its role is to influence the development of high-quality international accounting standards and decide which of those standards will be adopted for use in the UK. Stakeholder engagement, and understanding the views of UK stakeholders, is of central importance to UKEB's work.
