UKEB Advisory Groups

The Advisory Groups

The UKEB is setting up four standing advisory groups:

  • Academics
  • Accounting Firms & Institutes
  • Investors, and
  • Preparers

Ad hoc groups will also be set up for specific projects. The UKEB will shortly be establishing two ad hoc groups for:

  • Financial Institutions, and
  • Rate Regulated Activities.

These groups will not be decision-making bodies in their own right. They will act as advisory, consultative groups which will provide specialist knowledge and information as input into the Board’s technical decision-making.

Recruitment Campaigns

For administrative and processing purposes, the recruitment campaigns will be staggered, as follows:

  • recruitment of members for the Accounting Firms and Institutes group and the Investor group to commence first;
  • recruitment campaigns for members of the Academic and Preparer groups will follow shortly thereafter; and
  • recruitment for members of the two proposed ad hoc groups (Financial Institutions and Rate Regulated Activities) will follow in May 2022.
